Description:
This is used as a warm-up activity.
Everyone spread out and find your personal space. Can someone show me where your high level is? Middle Level? Low level? (Allow time for the students to demonstrate the differant levels)
The follwoing sequence is said to a song which the kids will be able to sing and dance to within minutes:
1. Put your finger in the high level and shake your finger
2. Shake, shake, shake, shake your finger
3. Shake your inger, shake, shake, shake shake your finger.
4. SHAKE (Freeze until everyone is frozen)YOUR(Freeze again)finger
shake shake shake shake your finger.
Go through this rhyme scheme several times picking out differant levels and differant body parts.
Do it for about 15 minutes (If you do it for too much longer the kids start getting a little crazy)
