Learning through the Arts
Author:The Royal Conservatory of Music (Canada)
URL:http://www.rcmusic.ca/ltta/index.asp
Summary:From the Home Page: Learning Through the Arts™ (LTTA) is an international educational initiative dedicated to changing the way the core curriculum is taught and learned in public schools. Lesson plans, demonstration videos and inspiring messages from LTTA artists are now offered on-line through this site. Visit often as we add more features, research and resources. We combine the arts with all academic subjects, and our students learn the interconnectedness of all things. We teach math through visual art, language through song, science through dance, and social studies through storytelling. We combine learning with creative expression to develop the whole child. Our students love to solve problems and share ideas. We create a living community of students, teachers, artists, and parents. No child is ever left behind.
